OK, girls (well, we're a bit long in the tooth to be girls, I suppose) - so, ladies - are you thinking about getting a toyboy? Dating the much younger man can be a real adventure. What should you expect? And also - what should you avoid? On the upside is of course, the sex.Younger men tend to be very energetic and eager to please. Sometimes a little too eager. They quite often want to show everything they know all at once. And I mean EVERYTHING. Well, they are just trying to show you that they know what they are doing because they are, frankly, a little intimidated by someone who may have oodles more experience than they do. So relax. Let them knock themselves out trying to impress. Also on the upside, they aren't going to take the whole thing too seriously. So for those of us not looking for another ex-husband, that can be quite a relief. All the fun, none of the heartache. On the down side, younger men can be hard to pin down. No, I don't mean you will need handcuffs. Though always keep that as an option! They can be - well, a little undependable. They can take appointments and schedules a little casually. So you may find that one of the first things you need to do is establish how valuable your time is and that cancelling at the last minute, or being very late for a meet-up is just not acceptable. There are other differences too - more on that later.Meanwhile, relax and enjoy your toboy!Well, it just seemed so obvious...after all, some of us cougars do have a bit of gray. Though L'Oreal and Clairol help keep it under control. But more importantly, this seemed like a worthwhile challenge - to come up with 50 aspects of cougaring to discuss - maybe even to open up to debate. So first on the list is the idea of a younger man being arm candy. This is a bit different than just a meet-up or hook-up, where it might be a quick drink and then off to the hotel room.I myself am one of those cougars who lkes to have a young man to escort me. I like having someone to go along with me to a film, to the theatre, to a concert, museum, dinner date or party. And then the shagging can take place afterwards. But let's be honest - most of the younger men who are exploring the idea of being with older women don't actually want to be seen in public with one.So I would be interested in hearing from some of you cougars out there - do you care about having at least some semblance of a date, or is it all about the sex?And you cubs - how do you feel about being really OUT there with a cougar on your arm?
